Christmas Bingo: Printable Cards and a Word Caller
Print a set of unique Christmas bingo cards, then run the game from this page. Every word has a picture, so it works for a classroom, an office party or a family with small children.
What you get
- 46 Christmas words, each with a picture. Santa, reindeer, snowman, stocking, fairy lights, mince pie, cracker and the rest. Every card takes 24 of them at random around a free centre square, and no two cards in a pack are the same.
- A caller on the same page. It draws the words at random with no repeats, shows each one large with its picture, and lists everything called so far.
- A card checker. Type the number of a card that claims bingo and the page marks the called words on it and says whether the line is real.
Last day of term
The last afternoon before the Christmas break is the classic slot for it, and the reason is practical: it keeps a whole class doing one thing at once. Print one card per child with two cards to a sheet, put the caller on the projector, and play a few line games with a small prize for each. The pictures mean children who are still learning to read are not left behind by the ones who are quick.
Office parties and families
For adults, switch the pictures off and call faster. An office party can play from a laptop plugged into the meeting room screen. For colleagues dialling in, print the pack to PDF and send each person the page with their card on it, so their card number still works in the checker. At home it fills the slow hour after lunch on Christmas Day, when nobody wants to move far.
Care homes and community groups
Print one card per sheet for the largest words and pictures, and read each word out clearly before showing it. The called list on screen means anyone who missed one can check it without holding the game up.

How to play Christmas bingo
- Print the cards — Choose how many cards you need, up to 100, pick A4 or Letter and 1, 2 or 4 cards per sheet, then press Print. Every card carries its own number.
- Hand out cards and markers — Give each player a card and some markers, such as chocolate buttons, coins or paper squares.
- Call the words — Press Call a word. The page draws a Christmas word at random, shows it large with its picture and adds it to the called list. No word repeats in a game.
- Check the winner — When someone calls bingo, type their card number into Check a card. The page marks every called word on their card and says whether they have a line or a full card.
