Random YouTube Comment Picker – Free Giveaway Tool
Pick random comments from YouTube videos for giveaways and contests. Fair, transparent selection.
How it works
- Enter a YouTube video URL
- Load the comments from that video
- Draw a random winner
Before you draw
Two decisions determine whether anyone disputes the result, and both are easier to make before the draw than after.
Duplicates. Decide whether one person commenting five times gets five chances or one. Either rule is defensible; not having a rule is not. Say which one you are using in the video description, where entrants can see it before they enter.
Eligibility. If entry required subscribing, following a second account, or answering a question, decide how you are checking that — and accept that a winner who fails the check means drawing again, publicly.
Making the draw credible
Entrants cannot see your screen, so the draw has to be visible to be trusted. Record it, or run it live. Show the total number of comments loaded before drawing, so nobody wonders whether late entries were included. Announce the winner's name exactly as it appears, and say how many entries there were.
The draw itself uses the browser's cryptographic random number generator, and the outcome is fixed before anything animates. If someone challenges the fairness, the fairness page lets them run up to 100,000 spins and check the distribution themselves — a far better answer than insisting it was random.
For Instagram giveaways use the Instagram comment picker. For drawing in front of a live audience, Live Spin shows everyone the same result at the same moment. The full giveaway guide covers the awkward cases, including what to do when the winner never replies.
