The Secret Santa wheel draws names for a gift exchange without asking anyone for an email address, which is the main thing the dedicated Secret Santa sites get wrong.
Put everyone's name on the wheel, turn on "Remove after spin", and let each person spin privately before passing the device along.
One rule matters more than the rest, and most write-ups get it wrong. If anybody draws their own name, the whole draw is void and everyone starts again - not just that person. Re-spinning only the person who drew themselves cannot work, because the problem usually appears at the end: if Alex draws Priya and Priya draws Alex, the last person left is looking at a wheel containing nothing but their own name, and spinning it again returns the same name for ever. Starting over is the fix, and with eight or ten people it rarely takes more than a couple of attempts.
If you would rather never restart, use the order method instead. Spin through the whole list with remove-after-spin on and write down the order that comes out, then have each person give to the next name on the list, with the last person giving to the first. That is always a valid exchange with no self-draws and no dead end, and the trade-off is that whoever writes the list down knows everyone's assignment. The trade-off against a dedicated Secret Santa site is worth understanding rather than glossing. Some of those sites do work by collecting everyone's email address and mailing out the assignments, and several others hand each person a private link instead and ask for no addresses at all. What none of them need is for everyone to be in the same room. This wheel needs exactly that, because the privacy comes from passing one device around and nobody watching over a shoulder, not from software keeping the assignments apart. In person it collects nothing from anyone; remotely you are relying on people to look away.

What happens if someone draws their own name?
Start the whole draw again, with every name back on the wheel. Re-spinning only that person does not work: if two people have already drawn each other, the last person is left with a wheel containing only their own name, and no number of spins changes that. A restart is quick and it is the same rule a paper draw from a hat needs.
Is there a way to avoid restarting the draw?
Yes, with one trade-off. Spin through the whole list with remove-after-spin on, write down the order the names come out, then have each person give to the next name down and the last person give to the first. That always produces a valid exchange with nobody drawing themselves, but whoever writes the order down knows every assignment, so it suits a family or a small team more than an office where the organiser is also playing.
Why not use a Secret Santa website?
Use one if it suits you better. Some collect every participant's email address to send the assignments out, and others give each person a private link without asking for an address, so it is not a single trade-off.
