Asian Countries Wheel Spinner
This wheel picks a random Asian country, covering the largest and most populous continent — which also makes it the one where a random draw teaches the most.
All 47 Asian countries are on the wheel, so it draws from the whole continent rather than the handful anyone names first: East Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and Southeast Asia are all in the pool.
All 47 of them are loaded, and between them they hold about 60 percent of the world's population, which is why a random draw does more work here than on any other continent. Ask a class to choose an Asian country and you will get Japan, China and India almost every time. Spin instead and you get Uzbekistan, Laos, Bhutan, Oman — places with genuinely different histories that no student would have volunteered for.
Which countries count as Asian is a genuine question, not a detail. This wheel follows the UN geoscheme, which puts Turkey, Cyprus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia in Asia and Russia in Europe. If your syllabus draws those lines somewhere else, edit the slices to match it.
For travel, the wheel is a decent antidote to always booking the same three countries.

Asian Countries Wheel Spinner — questions
Does the wheel include every Asian country?
Yes. All 47 UN member states in Asia are on it by default, so there is nothing to paste in first. Transcontinental countries follow the UN geoscheme: Turkey, Cyprus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia sit in Asia, and Russia is on the Europe wheel.
Can I narrow it to one region of Asia?
Yes. Replace the slices with just Southeast Asia, Central Asia or the Middle East, depending on what you are teaching, and the wheel picks only from that set.
How do I stop the same country being drawn twice?
Turn on "Remove winner after spin". Each country leaves the wheel once it has been drawn, so a class of thirty gets thirty different countries.
